After last night I was very skeptical of Martha & Marley Spoon’s Stir-Fried Pork and Rice. I didn’t trust where they were going with the flavor profile, though I was pleasantly surprised after a couple minor modifications:
– Cut the added sugar from 2 teaspoons to 1/2 teaspoon.
– In step 3, when you add the broccoli leaves, include 1-2 teaspoons of minced garlic AND season with additional salt & pepper.
Do NOT be fooled by the cool plastic bottle that rolls out of the paper bag making you think that they sent you a shot of alcohol to enjoy while you cook. It’s just rice wine vinegar. Bastards!
